When remodeling your bathroom, there are hundreds of different designs and functions to decide between. Take a look at a few popular choices:

Bathtub Styles:

Bathtub Combo with Curved Shower Rod

This setup includes an acrylic bathtub with custom designed tile walls, shelves and a wall-mount faucet. Installing a bathtub/shower combo in your bathroom adds more flexibility for your family’s needs. It gives you the option of a quick morning shower or a long, relaxing bath.

The tile surround with the acrylic tub adds a stylish look to your bathroom. By having customized shelf placement, your bathroom can accommodate multiple users.

A hand-held showerhead increases accessibility. You can fill up a bucket, bathe a pet, or use it like a stationary showerhead. The curved shower rod adds elbow room while you’re showering.

Bathtub Combo with Glass Door

For this combination, the acrylic bathtub is accented with acrylic walls, a grab bar, wall-mount faucet, hand-held showerhead and personalized shelf location.

Why is an acrylic tub and surround so popular? Because JDS Bath’s acrylic is made from the strongest acrylic in the industry. At the factory, the acrylic is infused with anti-microbial properties, making it very easy to keep clean.

Since every bathtub and surround is custom, there are many shapes and color options. This combination is finished off with a brushed nickel framed glass door, which matches the fixtures and grab bar.

Jetted Bathtub with Tile Surround

Another popular choice, this jetted bathtub has a personalized tile surround, wall-mount faucet and grab bar. Jetted/Jacuzzi tubs are popular for their healing and relaxation possibilities.

A soaking tub can provide many health benefits, including muscle relaxation, relieving tension and can improve your sleep. We also installed a tile shower in this bathroom, on the other side of the knee-wall. JDS Bath completely waterproofs the wet area before installing a single tile.

Freestanding Bathtub

A simple freestanding tub with a telephone tub faucet is as elegant as it is relaxing. One of the biggest benefits of a freestanding/stand-alone tub is it’s flexibility.

Built-in bathtubs go against the wall and a freestanding tubs can be placed in many different places in the bathroom. Stand-alone tubs are available in a variety of styles, including Roll Top, Double Ended, Back to Wall, Pedestal, Clawfoot, Slippered and Double Slippered.

You can also choose from three different styles of freestanding tub faucets, depending on where you want your tub in your bathroom. The Wall-mounted type faucet is designed for a bathtub that is placed against the wall. The Deck-mounted style is built onto the ledge of the tub and is a good option if you are wanting your bathtub in a smaller space. A Freestanding Faucet, like the telephone one in this bathroom, is installed into the flooring next to the bathtub.
