Judy and Alan were planning to have one of the bathrooms in their home remodeled – specifically, Alan’s bathroom. He’s a U.S. military veteran and a double amputee.
So, Alan’s bathroom must be accessible and functional.
They met with another contractor and hired them.
And this other contractor came in and gutted Alan’s bathroom, leaving it unusable. There wasn’t an accessible toilet, shower, or bathtub for him to use.
