JDS Bath Charitable Support

…National and Local Communities

---

As members of our local Central Virginia community, we believe it’s our responsibility to share our bathroom remodeling expertise and company success with those around us.

This means we frequently invest our time, energy, and resources back into local charities and organizations we believe in. And at the top of that list of causes we support is our veterans.

Virginia has one of the largest veteran populations in the United States, making it crucial for our local company to honor those who served our country.

Using the tools we have (both figuratively and non), we do what we can to assist our veterans and show our utmost appreciation.

From Free Bathroom Installations To Local Fundraisers,
We Advocate For Our Veterans

You might find it strange that a bathroom remodeling company could be so invested in veteran support – but we are. We believe EVERYONE deserves a functional, reliable, and beautiful bathroom, and veterans are no different.

Since handicap accessibility is one of our specialties, we use our expert bathroom remodeling skills to help disabled veterans find products that work for them.

From easier-to-operate sink fixtures to wheelchair-accessible tub-to-shower conversions, we advocate for those who most need them.

Plus, we work with various veterans associations to ensure that NO veteran need ever suffer from a poorly constructed, out-of-date bathroom.

Here are just some of the veterans organizations we partner with:

• Annual Southern Knights Cruisers Veterans Car And Bike Show (all entry fees are donated to the Veterans Hospital)
• Resources For Independent Living
• Veterans Affairs

Giving Back To Our Brave Frontline Workers

We all know how scary the height of Covid was for everyone. But as a bathroom remodeling company that supports frontline workers, we understand how especially challenging it was (and still is) for those facing the daily horrors of the virus.

And we wanted to help in the best way we knew how…through exceptional bathroom remodeling.

So, with the help of the VCU Hospital and through donations collected from Hanover Vegetable Farm, we gave a FREE shower to a frontline worker who showed exemplary courage.

Helping Local Families Through Toys For Tots

Giving back during the holidays is another way JDS Bath stays connected to the community we call home. Our office serves as an official drop-off location for the Richmond Toys for Tots campaign, collecting new, unwrapped toys that will go to local children and families.

We’ve participated as a Toys for Tots drop-off site for several years, and every year we’re grateful to see customers, neighbors, and other members of the community stop by with donations. It gives us the opportunity to help make Christmas a little brighter for children throughout the Richmond area.

Supporting The Fresh Idea Stage At The Richmond Home And Garden Show

Our commitment to Central Virginia goes beyond bathroom remodeling. JDS Bath is proud to sponsor the Fresh Idea Stage at the Richmond Home and Garden Show, where people from throughout the community have an opportunity to share their knowledge, talents, and passions.

The Fresh Idea Stage features presentations covering everything from home improvement and interior decorating to hobbies, entertainment, and other interests. We stepped in as a sponsor when the stage needed support, and we loved the experience so much that we continued our sponsorship for the 2026 Richmond Home and Garden Show.
